Spirit Security Spell

Since we are on the topic of spirits and Spirit Guides, if you have not already done so, it is wisest to protect your space many times over if you are going to explore the world of Spirit Communications. As Practitioners, we ward, protect, sanctify, and shield ourselves from all we can as we are traversing Paths along our Journey.

Especially in the month of “Communication” … January.

Below is a simple spell to do before beginning communications with Spirits and Guides, if it has not already in place. Taking stock, we are wise to have already employ Self Protection, Family/Friend Protection, Home Wards, Property Wards, and everything in between on a regular basis by the Third Degree. In case one of those wards or protections is waning, this simple one can be completed before we begin any Alpha state or communications.

PURPOSE
To protect. (Self, Home, Property and all those in it.)


INGREDIENTS/TOOLS
Clear Quartz pieces/crystals
Black Cloth
(For the Psychic Practitioner/Witch, you ‘just need your mind’.)


This will connect a protective line with your altar and anything else you are connected to on the Global Crystal Web. Determining the number of crystals needed is up to you. We utilize our Stone Allies, rocks, and crystals instead of something like ‘nails’ because we are Protecting against all energies that are unwanted. Nails do not always protect against all things as they are not “naturally” found.

The number of Stone Allies called upon is determined by how much strength or Protection is needed. Practitioners work BEST in ways that call to them.

EXAMPLES:
One crystal piece for every window or entry/exit door.

One crystal for the four corners of one’s property.

One crystal for each potted plant sat in each room.

It is up to EACH PRACTITIONER TO DECIDE.

ENVISIONING EXAMPLE
In our Mind’s Eyes, when we call for Protection we will See all of these crystals light up and begin glowing more intensely when called upon.
For me, in my mind’s eye as I do a lot of Psychic Magick and Medicine, I see all of the places I have hiked and imbued the ground with Sigil Craft light up. (Interestingly, one of those locations is now a place for pagan festivals…. wonder if this helped?)


TIME (Most important!)

For me:
Saturday
Waning Moon
For this protection spell it works with the phase of the moon, and/or the day and the deity of the day’s name. You may also tie it to your personal deity or patron saint.

HOW
Once supplies have been gathered, align as many of the correspondences as you can to imbue the most power for the Intent of PROTECTION. This works with your Spirit Guide and the energies of the Universe for energy work.

Place the crystals upon your altar or in your magickal space on Saturday, or on Saturday during a Waning phase to charge with that energy. (If you luck out and get a protective sign the moon is passing through, take advantage of that power too!) But, we cannot have everything align all the time … so, do what you are able to in adding correspondent herbs or the like to the area of the crystals to imbue their energy as well.

Leave these crystals charging for ONE NIGHT.

TRY to collect the crystals before the sun rises or leave them covered with the black cloth if you cannot.

Once they have charged, as you are placing each one in its place, tell it it’s Intent. Tell the Stone Ally what you are imbuing it with and thank its spirit medicine for helping or assisting you.

RECHARGING
To recharge you simply go to your Key crystal that you placed on your altar or in your sacred space on a Saturday or during another Waning moon. Some Practitioners only have to touch the crystal to charge the others. Some sit with the crystal Key in meditation and psychically walk to each location recharging and communing with each crystal. The method is up to you.

Now, when you sit down to communicate with spirits, you can meditate and activate the Protection you have installed around you!
