Jack Parsons

Marvel John Whiteside “Jack” Parsons (yes, that was his full name) was an American rocket engineer, chemist, and an open Practitioner of Thelema. His work is primarily associated with the California Institute of Technology, and was considered one of the principal founders of both the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Aerojet Engineering Corporation. He is quoted as stating this about tarot:

“Remember that the Tarot is a great and sacred arcanum - its abuse is an obscenity in the inner and a folly in the outer. It is intended for quite other purposes than to determine when the tall dark man will meet the fair rich widow.”
