Intermediate Energy Work
Element Water Work
Sun Day, appropriately named Father’s Day in the United States, is partly so due to the male energy it already embodies, another part is the dogma attached to the people that deemed it a celebratory day. No matter your reason, it has been a “male energy” day for thousands of years.
It would be ideal to perform this Lesson during that time, as it is balancing FEMININE energy on a MASCULINE day. This can bring great balance and often it is MOST productive to be done BEFORE the Masculine emitters get going for the day.
If you cannot find a way, it may be advisable to try the day BEFORE gathering, or not, as millions do anyway. Send them Healing, Balance, and Safety is you are not a celebrant of the day.
This will also aid in the FLOW of Energy in moments of need as we are MOSTLY Water. Calling Element Water in for balance on this day of Sun in particular may be the only reprieve felt!
WHY WATER?
We have all learned that Water is the Element of Emotion. It also has to do with Intuition. Hence, Water signs have Water’s properties, not the other way around. They are always ruled by their Element FIRST. If you are under a Water Sign, Sun or Moon, all the more reason to do this!
Water takes on the shape of whatever container, or situation, it is placed into. More often than not, we can call on Water to help us with our magickal Workings. (Like our upcoming Partner Spell!)
The primary ways we unite with the Water inside of us is through dreamwork. We can also experience life through our emotion, Self care, relationships and our Intuition are all effected by the way we feel the energy of Water.
REMEMBER FROM WAHYA
Water is sensitive, intense and deep often carrying us with its tides and flows if we are not mindful. Sometimes this is a depth of Water we cannot know in human-Matter form and we are wise to Experience it in our human-Spirit form on the astral or with meditation.
The intelligence, or Element, is sometimes called “passive energy” as we have learned, so it typically does not respond to aggressive magick.
Water has a negative charge and always wants to share with you as a spiritual Being.
With the exercise outline below, we will again connect with Water as we did in Wahya Circle. If you did this Work, and continue this in your practices, the Experience will be quite different from a year ago.
“I vibrate with Water, so that I may know the Energy.”
TO BEGIN
Once the moon has risen for you (OR anytime you set aside to do this) find a comfortable spot, a seat, a hammock, or near a window to see outside if you cannot go there.
Have a glass of cool, or cold, water at your side.
Cleanse, clear and release the energy from the day. Ground per your method.
CLOSE YOUR EYES.
Inhale for a count that you are comfortable with. (Four is the usual number for the Box Breathing Technique.)

Slowly exhale.
Pause – take a slow sip of water. Feel it in the fire of your belly.
Inhale for a count of four again…

Pause – take a slow sip of water.
Inhale for a third cycle of four…

Pause – take a slow sip of water.
After you employ this technique in the way MOST effective for you, Alpha state sets in. Shoulders relax. Jaw muscles relax. Brain idles, or close to idles.
Turn your Focus inward. Look with your mind’s eye. See and FEEL the energy of Element Water flowing inside you. See it flowing through your feet, up your legs. Your spine. Feel it slowly rising through your chest, your heart, flowing out into your still, heavy arms and into your mind’s eye.
Focus on Water.
Greet Water.
Inwardly express your desire to FEEL the energy that you are a part of, that is always inside you.
What do you “see”? What color? What do you smell? Is there a taste?
Describe your Experience with as many sensory details as you can to yourself. Speak the description aloud if you desire.
When you feel you have experienced Water, smile in gratitude – on the inside that is more comfortable.
Begin to watch in your mind’s eye — the energy beginning to flow back down through your body, draining from your arms. Their feeling lighter as the energy leaves them. Through your chest. Your heart. Down through your legs and out through your feet.
While this Experience is fresh with you, write it down in your Journal or Book of Shadows.
You are now re-acquainted with the essence of the Energy of Water.
This is an energy that is always inside of you and that you can call on in any time of need.
Element Water calms. It puts out fires. It can aid you in many ways from Healing Magick to Soothsaying. Keep in mind that water can boil to evaporation … never allow your emotions to go that far. If you see someone else “evaporating” to something like “Anger” from Element Fire, send forth some of your spiritual Water to “cool” them.
As we are parting ways with Water again, show gratitude to the Energy/Spirit of Water as you see fit while you close this exercise.
Finish your glass of water, contemplating the presence of the Element Water in your life OR give the Water to a plant, thanking the Water for sharing its Knowledge with you.

Water Walls
The concept of the Water Wall was introduced back in your First Degree while walking with Wahya Circle.
Have you been practicing with your psychic energies?
With this visualization, you are going to once again explore your psychic strength and ability. This is something that many of us have expressed that we wish to grow or improve in our practices. The majority of Practitioners desire to strengthen their psychic abilities.
Have you made any further opportunity to cal upon this technique? What occurred, or what action led you to call upon the power of Water to assist you?
TECHNIQUE REVIEW
TO BEGIN
Call upon Element Water to assist you.
Tell Element Water what your Intent is.
Have something representative of Water if need be, to aid in your Intented FOCUS.
Take the space you are in into your mind’s eye.
See the boundaries, the floors, ceiling, walls. Or, if outside, a tree, a trashcan, a stage, etc. See some other boundaries that may leave an open spot AWAY from you, an “exit” if you will. Look with your eyes of Matter first, map it, then close them if you can to recollect what you perceived. If you cannot, Consciously think about what you are seeing.
ENVISION
Now, in your mind’s eye, see a giant wall of living water at one end of your chosen space, opposite of your predetermined “exit” point. See that wall of Water start slowly closing up behind or around those you wish to move away and out of the exit.
See it closing the space, making it smaller and smaller towards the exit, washing over the individuals or energies that choose not to move and listen to their inner voices and sight. They will feel it.
You are essentially, through your use of psychic thought “washing them away” with a wall of Water.
Do this slowly and Intently.
Move the Water Wall a few feet at a time. SLOWLY. Refocus. Move it a few feet more. SLOWLY. Refocus. Project the feeling of “need to escape” on what you are attempting or practicing to move. (This latter part is often forgotten and the Water Wall becomes ineffectual.)
Once you are satisfied that it is done or you do not feel you can do much more, thank Water for assisting you. This technique may take several attempts to begin to master. Keep at it. This is a very powerful, useful tool to have as a Practitioner.
Continue to work on this valuable psychic technique. This technique may be employed in both the realm of Matter, and the realm of Spirit, or the astral.

Water Walls II
Try this exercise a few more times. Do not give up. Try this exercise in a few different settings, alone and with others. You may find you are more adept in one situation or place over another. If you are with others you can trust, even animals, you can be mindful of their response to what you are doing and determine their reactions.
What did you think of the Water wall the first time you practiced with Water? Were you able to do it/complete the task then or did you have the chance to attempt it in the past year? Have you practiced to notice responses of others? How else may you employ the energy of Water in your life?
