Divined for you Today:

All pilgrimages are journeys into the unknown. The Path disappears. There is neither map nor sign. Those who passed this way before left no mark on land nor time. The Practitioner is discovering where they are and so they are discovering who they are. The vastness of the land around them puts things into perspective. They have learned they can’t depend on someone else’s map if they are to have the great adventure of finding their own way, and in doing so finding themselves. The landscape within will determine which way they choose, and as they choose, their inner domain of becoming whole and Divine will change. They will be free. They are free. The future is theirs to create.

The energies of land and sea arise to greet the Practitioner and their companion, a White Horse, who knows the inner course of instinct and natural harmony of What Is. If asked, it would carry the Practitioner’s weight upon their back wherever the Journey might take them, and the two walk as equals. The Practitioner is learning to listen to their body, to their Higher Self, their Spirit, to their senses and instincts as they walk beside the wise Horse. The Practitioner is Experiencing the way of mutual devotion and wisdom greater than their own.

Far off in the distance, ancient Herds thunder forward, following the ceaseless cycles of Sun and Earth. Their course is set by the seasons, a life-regenerating rhythm revealed by land and light. It is animal wisdom honored by our Ancestors who migrated in their company, unconstrained by human borders, trusting the vast tides of Life flowing across Mother Earth in search of green grass, fresh Water, and the future. Alkebulan. Zhong Guo. Sindhu.

The Journey of Life is a pilgrimage.

Some Paths are well worn by the Ancestors of those who have traveled it. Some are known only to those who share that Knowledge. Others are only known by those that travel between the Worlds, or only visible when you look at it a certain way. On this Divine pilgrimage, each Path is as unique as the one who walks it, but the landscape through which ALL travel – ALL Mother Earth’s children – is the same.

It is sacred, as EVERY PATH LEADS HOME.

It is time to ask yourself, “where am I going”? Your question will be answered with another question: “where do you want to go”? This is a moment when great changes are underway, seen or unseen, within Self and in the World around you. You may feel uncertain about which direction to take, which choice is “right” for you, and what will bring you most fulfillment.

It is time to travel light. Pack only what you need, and leave behind what you don’t. Old ideas, especially ones that come from other Paths and people and Experiences. Those old ideas are their expectations, not yours.

There are no mistakes, only adventure that will teach you who you are and why you are here. Learn to trust your Self, your Instincts. Trust your heart, trust those who love you unconditionally, especially your companion animals, the Animal Allies. And remember, the point of the Journey is NOT the destination, it is who you become along the way.

Magick for Today

When our Star, Sol, first rises in the sky, face it. Face East.
Stretch out your arms, reaching towards the Sun, before you. Even if you can’t see it, its there. (Try an app like SkyMap, if at night or overcast, to locate it in your sky.)
Begin to turn slowly in a circle, Intuitively choosing the direction. Does it feel “right”?
Close your eyes and turn inward. Does the direction still FEEL crrect for you?
Then this is your direction, even if it is not like others. This is your Path.

Now that you have connected to the energy of What is, Earth and Sky, think on, FOCUS ON, where in your Practice you wish to go next on your Path.

What do you wish to learn, or need to learn?

Continue to spin in a circle until your heart says “stop”.

Open your eyes and take the first step forward in the direction your heart has called. It is time to work magickally with the Element of that direction for you.

Thank the Sun.
Thank the Earth.

What to Expect

Now that you have come through your first month of Lessons, several submissions and your 'first spell', it is time to turn inward and think about where we are in Wahya Circle. We are wise to consider how we feel and what is becoming of our magick practice. Is it becoming a more regular thought, or action? No changes?

Involution is that time we 'transform' what we have learned into practice, shaping and molding what we perceive to be useful to our personal magickal practices. You will notice that about once per month, Practitioners will be given time to go back, reread, absorb, place into both their correct perspective and personal practice or delve deeper into what is being presented.

Today begins that day.

Beltane or Fire Festival

If you can find a Ritual that is safe for you to attend, go. Attend and see. Not all Practitioners walk a Path that dictates the celebrations in this way, but they are often beautiful to see and Experience. Most that you will find are of Wiccan, Celtic or Druid descent but this time does not “belong” to any particular sect of people of Earth. It is one of several “fire festivals” which ALL (native) people celebrate.

No matter what your beliefs are or what you Practice on the Path you walk, this is the time when the Earth renews life and “fire” is a given and often occurring with the lightening in most storms. It is a changing of the seasons, of growth and rebirth.

Below you will find a link to one of the Beltane fire festivals, from Druid Kindred in Edinburgh. Remember who we were as a people thousands of years ago, still on the Cosmic clock. Remember what the purpose of a ceremony such as this was and is.
