Many Practitioners that come to walk with Three Circle Medicine & Magick only want Knowledge to “heal”, or to utilize only one polarity of Magick, or Medicine. Outside of 3CMM, it is the Practitioner’s inalienable birthright to absorb only the KNowledge they choose.

Three Circles Medicine & Magick offers the opportunity for Practitioners to have the Knowledge of how to be a more balanced and well rounded Practitioner by incorporating many practices and thoughts from around the world.
We share with caveats in our purpose of providing this Knowledge. It is a “just in case” preparation, or “worst case scenario” situation that we are cognizant of, like war. Which are all very real human possibilities. To think or feel otherwise is dangerously complacent to your well-being and it is advised to weight the Knowledge carefully.
We offer this Knowledge now that many others have utilized for thousands of years in proven practices from around the world. If you are triggered by anything at any point, we ask that you please withdraw from Three Circles Medicine & Magick school. IF we suspect anything ulterior in your motivations for acquiring this Knowledge, we will make the executive decision with High Council to Administratively Withdraw you from 3CMM. We do this for both our personal liability, the safety of the Practitioner in attendance, AND those around them.
While we believe in a balance of all things, we also practice a balance of all things. We share the Knowledge of many aspects, birth - life - death, love - indifference - hate, dark - grey - light, all polarities and all that encompasses in the many magicks that they include.
We will carefully tread from this point forward with much more calculation and wording to share. We respect all life and merely share at this point what is considered “common” Knowledge to many, with you, in an educational setting. It is the INTENT that individual Practitioner that makes what we share “harmful” or “baneful” according to the society we live in. Please, KNOW YOUR INTENT.

Datura Solanaceae
Thorn Apple or Devil’s Trumpet
Also known as Jimsonweed, Moonflower and Sacred Datura, this plant grows throughout most of the Americas, and found throughout the world. It is a wonderful plant to keep on hand for some serious magickal use, not to mention the pollinators love it! Yes, some use it for its “hallucinogenic” properties but a Hekatean garden is more apropos. This Plant Ally comes straight out of the poisoner’s apothecary, something you can do to yourself if you handle this plant irresponsibly. It is advisable to wash hands afterward.
HISTORICAL USE
We know from the archeological finds from ancient civilization it was traditionally used for religious visionary purposes throughout the world. It was used specifically by those who practice Craft in medieval Europe for Divination. The Hindu God Shiva was known to smoke both Cannabis and Datura to divine prophecy. This plant holds great power. A use that has been shared is that of “rendering one incapable of situational awareness”.
Why?
It is Hallucinogenic, Sedative.
DOSE
As little as 15 grams of Datura, which is between 15 and 25 seeds, can be a fatal dose. If merely “poisoning”, the side effects on the body can last long after the desired effects wear off. Hyoscyamine, atropine, and scopolamine occur naturally and give Datura its intoxicating and medicinal properties.
NOTE
The environment matters. The amount of stress the Plant Ally endures increases or decreases the amount of ‘ines that are produced. For exampe, the amount of water that it is given can effect this. Plants are living things just as we, our urine becomes concentrated when we dehydrate ourselves and the urine becomes darker. If this Ally doe snot receive the water it needs, it may die or produce more of the desired chemicals as a response. This will ALL depend of what type of relationship you have built with our Plant Allies.
Medicinal: This plant is ENDLESS in medicinal value. It goes from analgesic to use in the End Days of Life to help dry up lung secretions on someone who is passing. Magickal: We know that this comes straight from the poisoner’s repertoire but more often it was/is used for its ‘hallucinogenic’ properties. Some archaeologists believe the Oracle at Delphi may have utilized this plant amongst others to induce these long intense states of mind. Early American settlers wrote of the “long trips” those in their village would go on with the First Nationers and it would be DAYS before they were themselves again. This plant is used to BANISH what does not serve you, good, bad, indifferent. This Plant Ally works with and is utilized by all people who come across it throughout all time.

Wisdom of the World
This stone is known, throughout the Americas, Egypt, Turkey, and other places around the world as it is used in their magicks regularly. It is known amongst the Indigenous Practitioners that handling of this beauty should be minimized due to its copper and aluminum content but otherwise, it has strong magick that can be called upon.
USES
Turquoise balances and aligns all the chakras, stabilizing mood swings and instilling inner calm when doing “inner work”. It is excellent for depression and exhaustion, it also has the power to prevent panic attacks when programmed to do so with Intent. Turquoise promotes self-realization and assists creative problem solving.
In Shadow Work, it can help you seek out deep material to confront. The Egyptians and Druids, as well as many others, used this Stone of Wisdom for both Protection and Healing.

TIMING
New Moon/Dark Moon, Day or Night
METHOD
Draw a square on the ground, on paper, in a planter, etc, as long as it is something “natural” or of the Earth.
ADD ON OPTIONS
At each corner place a white candle and/or a piece of turquoise.
(You may use a dyed stone(s) as a representative. It is preferred to be in the same color spectrum, but if not both the color and correspondent stone must be charged and programmed for its purpose or Intent as that of the Intent/Purpose of the Stone Ally, Turquoise.)
Once you have cleared your mind, light each candle and chant, in your own cadence and words something along the lines of:
“With the Power of the Moon,
I Will it and I Will find,
serenity and Peach of Mind.”
Your words, your chant, once for each corner.
INTENT
The Intent is for the power of the Moon to help you call upon the powers of the Earth to aid in your daily life or matter or work, as “more” is needed sometimes.

COPPER POISONING
Although humans need SOME copper to survive, eating or drinking too much copper can cause vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, black “tarry” stools, liver damage, and kidney disease. It can also cause headaches, difficulty breathing and an irregular heartbeat.
Signs this is occurring are a brown ring-shaped marking in the eyes (Kayser-Fleischer rings), yellowing of eyes and skin (jaundice). Increased anxiety. Sudden changes in mood, like feelings of being overwhelmed or extreme sadness with no obvious cause. Bottom line, turquoise with a heavy copper content leaches into well water and becomes toxic. Most mammals are very sensitive to this. Over time, this heavy metal causes kidney failure and brain damage, or rare cases, death.

Now, it is advised to spend a life time collecting these and really try to let just those that come to you naturall —on their own, when needed and choose to stay, when needed. Many magickal items typically come to us when we most need them. With that, once you have them, you have them.

Cleansing, Clearing, Caring for Stones
It is of utmost importance to clean any new crystal that comes your way of any residual energies that they may have picked up during their previous Journeys. Also, if you use any of your stones as healing tools, they should be cleaned before and after each healing session. Healers will dedicate or program crystals to increase or enhance their vibrational energies. The programming also helps protect the stones themselves from absorbing any harmful energies while they are in service.
CLEANING BASICS
There are many different ways to clean your crystals. Choosing the best cleaning method depends on the type of stone you want to clean. An hour in direct sunlight is more than enough to clean most. However, certain stones will fade if left out in the sunlight. Amethyst is one example. Keep your amethysts out of direct sunlight if you want them to retain their vibrant purple hues. Other stones that will fade include aquamarine, citrine, fluorite, rose quartz, and smoky quartz.
BREATH - ELEMENT AIR
Blow onto the stone with clearing Intention. The stronger the magick the stone was used for, the stronger the breath may need to be. In rare cases, like exorcism, more than one cleansing method is utilized.
(This is Reverend Richoz’s primary cleansing method. After holding the stone under running water for a moment, the stone is lifted and the words “I cleanse and consecrate you in the name of the Divine, God and Goddess” are stated to the stone and breath is placed as the stones is turned in a baninshing circle. *whatever that means to you* The stone is thanked for its participation in the Intent/Purpose and it is placed “in its place”.)
ELEMENT EARTH
Bury crystals in the earth for a ritual purification, calling upon Earth to aid in the cleansing. Do not use this method for crystals containing iron, such as hematite, pyrite, and tiger iron. Why? Because over time, oxidation of pyrite and similar stones release toxic metals and metalloids such as arsenic, a poisonous element. Stone Ally Pyrite is friends with Arsenic.
ELEMENT WATER
Fresh Water
Most stones will do well in freshwater (or even tap water), but some stones will dissolve in water (such as azurite, angelite, phenakite, selenite, and the like). Some will dissolve or scratch in saltwater, including: amber, turquoise, hematite, imperial topaz, red coral, opals, pyrite, lapis lazuli, moonstone, and calcites. None the less, brooks, lakes, rivers are ideal. Cleanse crystals in a natural water reservoir IF POSSIBLE like a lake, river, creek, pond, or even under waterfall if you can.
Saltwater
Do not clean rough or raw stones in saltwater or those with a hardness level less than seven. Make sure any cloth that you use is soft and won't shed fibers. A soft-bristled toothbrush is an option as well, especially for water methods.
With the exception of the few minerals that can develop scratches, stones love salt water cleanses. Especially in the ocean!
“Remember the ite” – those stones typically do not clean in water, definitely DO NOT soak them with water. They will begin to dissolve.
ELEMENT FIRE
Sunlight
With the exception of those that fade in direct sun light, like amethyst and fluorite, all stones can recharge in a sunny space.
Moonlight
Moonlight is often a better option. Moonlight cleansing can take several hours or days. To expose a stone to all the moon phases (from a full moon to a new moon), place the stone outside each evening at dusk (retrieving it before sunrise) for 28 consecutive days.
CHARGING PLATES
Purple plates, yes the ones we eat from, will cleanse and re-energize with the positive energy of purple which corresponds with deep magick in most cultures. You may also use a selenite “recharging” plate.
REIKI
Infuse crystals with balancing reiki energies and symbols.
RICE (ELEMENT EARTH ALTERNATE)
Rice has a lot of properties both practical and magickal as anyone who has dropped their cellphone in water may know. Brown rice has a great property vibration for cleaning stones. Purify crystals overnight submerged in a bowl of uncooked brown rice. Then move them to the sunlight in the morning for an hour. White rice can also be used but it is typically reserved for stones used in powerful magicks like exorcisms. (White rice, white salt, is said to change colors when it pulls the “banished” energies from the item or stone placed in it. If this happens to you, the cleanser must be promptly buried in the Earth with a piece of selenite or sealed in a “box” after use.) Otherwise, compost the rice or give it back to Earth with thanks after using.
SELENITE
Use a selenite wand to wave over your other stones (Remember, selenite has cleansing properties).
SMUDGE/SAINE
Burning incense or herbs and allowing it, or fanning it, across the stone. Lavender, Sweetgrass, Sage, Pine, Cinnamon
VISUALIZATION
Visualize a beam of white light flowing in from the Universe or yourself if you are going to recharge, to cleanse your crystals.
WEATHER (CLIMATE)
Different types of weather may be utilized for cleansing all stones and tools.
Dewdrops: Collect dew drops from grass or leaves to cleanse your stones.
Rainfall and thunderstorms: Set your stones outdoors during a rainfall for a natural washing. Energize them further by allowing them to sit out during a thunderstorm.
Snowfall may be utilized in the same way.
Wind. If the wind is moving in a catching way to you, it may be used. Be sure to call upon the Elements to assist in utilizing their cleanse and charge power.
