Tyr’s Day
As we begin our Journey with Wahya Circle: Protection
We cast this Circle as our right,
We cast this Circle, with all ‘ our might!
Dandelion
As we walk with Wahya Circle, we will first consider our Protection. As a group of the National Black Hat Society, but more importantly as an INDIVIDUAL. This is the first Plant Ally that speaks to most of us here on Earth. Whether we hear it or not is another matter.
MASTER PROTECTOR
Dandelion is one of the most common “weeds” on Earth. As such, the “tooth of a lion” has often been used as a banishment of negative energy the world over. Protecting those it cohabits with, you can find it in most places that you find humans, and also in others where there are none.
There is much Medicine and Magick to be had with Dandelion. It can be called on in all Magick as that Master Protector. In Medicine (Western) there is continuing cancer research such as colorectal research related to disease of the bowel, for example.

Quartz
Next time you are walking outside, look down. What do you see? Pavement? There is quartz in there. Sand? There is quartz in there. Walking through the woods? QUARTZ IS FOUND.
Quartz is in fact, the most abundant mineral on the Earth’s surface. It is a beautiful marriage of oxygen and silicon. When it comes in contact with any other element, its colors can vary wildly. Take for example, pink can indicate a presence of iron, or appearing brown can indicate there is extra silicon.
Naturally occurring, quartz protects us by nature. That is this Stone Ally’s main purpose, whether used in Magick or Medicine OR NOT. It aligns our energy without us even touching it - because we live and vibrate where we do, on it, near it. Having a piece in your possession further helps keep you aligned with the Spirit of the Earth, Mother Earth, Anima Mundi, or whatever name you wish to call the energy.
MASTER HEALER
Quartz is a master healer for us and where we choose to be. It stores, releases and regulates energy. It clarifies and amplifies. It cleanses and purifies. The uses for quartz are endless.

Týr
God of Law,
not just War
Very little we use today is solely from Western Society. Not numbers, and most certainly no method of 'time keeping'. With that said, let us 'start at the start' in learning the origin of things.
JUST WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?
As we know, Monday is named for the Moon as Sunday is named for the Sun. The various other names of the week are only so according to the location. Western Society has carried the following names with them since before the Roman conquerings and colonizations of Europe. This goes all the way back to before that time to the Celtic conquerings.
You can even hear where tribes of the Ancients are still rooted to this day as the days of the week continue to be called by their planetary correspondence names, which lead to the Gods and Goddess of the times.
This is one of their stories.
MARDI - MARS- TUESDAY, PLANET OF WAR
Tuesday is ruled by Mars. For us today, it is a name derived from those of the God Tyr. One of the Minor Aesir, Tyr is from the Norse pantheon of Deities.
“One of the oldest Gods of the Germanic peoples and a somewhat enigmatic figure. He was apparently the God concerned with the formalities of war—especially treaties—and also, appropriately, of justice.
It is in His character as Guarantor of Contracts, Guardian of Oaths, that the most famous myth about Him may be understood. It is written: as a guarantee of good faith, he placed his hand between the jaws of the monstrous wolf Fenrir while the gods, pretending sport but intending a trap, bound the wolf; when Fenrir realized he had been tricked he bit off Tyr’s hand (hence Tyr’s identification as the one-handed god). Tyr came to be identified by the Romans with their own Mars, hence dies Marti (Mars’ Day) came to be rendered Týsdagr (Tuesday).”
All in all, the Norse god Tyr is not very well-known, at least when compared to such names as Odin and Thor. However, he is also part of the Aesir tribe in the Norse pantheon and Tyr could be called the bravest of the Norse gods. This aspect of his personality is evident in the best-known myth about him, the Binding of Fenrir.

Think About It
There is no “right” or “wrong’ answer. This is entirely up to how YOU feel in your practice and how you respond to What Is. NO ONE has the authority, or ability, to tell you that is “wrong” or “right” - but you.
Know how you FEEL. Explore that. Sit with it. FEEL.
Think About It
How does Deity, or your “Higher Power”, whatever that is to you, come to you?
