Monad Five Concepts, Pemptoneira
Fifth Sleep - ”to study”
Reverend Richoz’s Thoughts
“Through the Experience of Tetroneira it is believed by most that our Spirit gains insight into the nature of our monadical Experiences and their Stream Cycles in which we swim. We understand Matter on a grander scale by the Fifth Sleep, in many different ways and are aptly able to maneuver through it. We study our Experiences well. We embody a greater understanding of Self, Spirit and our Divine Source as those concepts are seen more clearly. The patterns and the connection between them reveal themselves more readily to those who seek it with an Open Heart.
As a State of Being, those in Fourth Monad are able to objectively observe their previous Experiences of Matter through Physical, Emotional and Psychological lenses an innumerable amount of times. These innumerable patterns are learned through countless Experiences within each manifestation of our Spirit into Matter.
The Knowledge of each Experience is carried with each of us, except we as a Consciously Aware specifies have not fully grasped the most beneficial way to “wake up”. Because we each carry this with us over and over again, some are Conscious of this Knowing, some seeking it… some continuing their study of it, but they are Aware.
So some ask, “why is this number considered ‘innumerable’?”
Because it accounts for all Experiences through all Space, Time and Dimensions. “
Monads of Matter - back into Spirit
As we evolve and grow back into the energy that we are, we learn in the first three Experiences, Prot, Deut, and Tri, the patterns of Spirit in Matter —found objectively. This time is spent studying the physical, emotional and mental Experiences that are sensed subjectively through five “tangible” senses, thoughts and feelings. This is both thought and felt to be an impossible task of studying these Experiences objectively if not clear of unhealed or unintegrated Shadow and Unhealthy Ego.
As we evolve, we then typically seek to apply that Knowledge gained through the Experience of many evolutions to what we have learned subjectively as we pass into our Fourth Monad of Experiences. Tetroneira. This is where our Astral Experiences become quite prevalent. Lucid Dreams do not elude us and our minds are settled with “who we are”. We are quite capable of “sitting in stillness'“ without the aid of drink, drug or other. Our Spirit is with Yona amongst others who walk the Blue Path of Spirit with us as well. Some of us even become adept at Remote Viewing past, present and future around this Monad.
It cannot be conveyed to us what we do not know… not easily.
Divinely speaking, it is felt that Divinity of Self created a way here to explore the patterns between the Monads themselves. To Experience Spirit in Matter and to apply what has been objectively learned from “without” our being through our Experiences of the first three monads, to subjectively study, benefit, and grow “within” through our fourth and into our fifth Experiences. Spirit Experienced in Matter making its way back into Spirit…. or Energy ….or Source …or What Name You Call It.
Now, we understand that this takes many lifetimes, or manifestations, and while Tetroneira Self was gaining personal insight through reactions to these patterns of Matter, the Astral Self of Tetroneira simply lacked the necessary distance to understand the patterns of Spirit as it looked forward, or beyond. “Too close to the forest to see the trees.” Here, in our Fifth Sleep, we see.
Some believe, to gain understanding of those patterns, Spirit, Divinity, Higher Power, Higher Self, or What Name You Call It, came into Matter via the Fifth Monad - Pemptoneira. All Knowledge from previous Experience in Matter…. ALIGNED.
Pemptoneira
It is also believed that the goal of this monad Experience to gain understanding of these patterns subjectively and how to most beneficially grow them further in Self or Spirit of Self. This is where Magick and Medicine becomes deep on a personal level. Involution becomes invaluable. Usually by this point in our Journey, we have settled through our “ages and stages” of metaphysical and spiritual growth for that part of our Journey. It is not as easy to “shake us from our tree”. (See ITB video on Shadow Work from Wahya Circle.) Most Practitioners have a very strong relationship with Self through Unconditional Love and have long since placed the Ego of Matter in check, along with continual Shadow Work.
Monad Recap
Just as Protoneira studied the patterns of being, Deuteroneira sought practical application of those patterns realized. Tritoneira analyzed them objectively for validity, and Tetroneira studied those interactive patterns of objectivity in the astral to begin integrating into the whole being, Spirit and Matter. Now, Pemptoneira seeks practical understanding of them all subjectively. We then see the same pattern repeating at different octaves or vibrations of energy as we evolve through Time and Space, changing with and for each Experience. Once that has been successful, Dimension comes into play. (Remember, we know there are 4 Dimensions and can theorize up to 10. We are working on proofs NOW. Recall the “Ant on the Mobius strip”.)
To Study with the Fifth Monad
Observational and analytical in an objective way — starting where Tetroneira became subjective in the astral is where our Fifth Monad picks up its study of the Experience of Spirit in Matter. Pemptoneira seeks to know and to understand existence in all its facets - especially the relationships between things. Curiosity is Pemptoneira’s overriding characteristic, and to study subjectively is its primary application.
Where Deuteroneira sought to understand things in terms of practical effects, Pemptoneira seeks to understand causes. “Why did that happen? What can I change ‘in here’ to effect out there? Is there something ‘in here’ that causes ‘out there’ to change?” This goes beyond the study achieved through the Monads of Matte as “‘this happens’ and we do not know why.” Effects are a secondary concern to Pemptoneira - though not to say unimportant. The “cause”, the “why” are most important. The Fifth Monad person asks A LOT of “why” questions. These are the clean and curious children who never lose that wondrous ability of studying and exploring All That Is. They take everything we have learned in Matter and seek further connection to our Highest Benefit in Spirit.
As we have learned, even unevolved Fourth Monad Souls can sometimes throw themselves fully into each Experience where it can CAUSE long lasting attachments, mostly to other people but sometimes to things, or places. This is especially true for absent deep Shadow Work or Soul Work not having been started. When we look at the Fifth Monad Soul they are seemingly aloof and reserved from their Experiences of Matter. They are in fact not driven by most material things at all and their curiosities of learning go beyond them.
Whether eating a delectable dish or having amazing sexual encounters, they are not as interested in those types of relationships between things of Matter. It is wise to consider that they have already Experienced them, or they have perhaps that is not their Journey of Experience this incarnation. The Fifth Monad Soul continually revises its attachments as its understandings and evolution of Self are ever-changing over Time, Space and Dimension. They are Aware of being in a continual state of change. Remember, the FIRST thing Magick changes is YOU. Pemptoneira thrives on Self Work. Ego Work. Shadow Work. Global Work. All of this is done in greater and greater ways through the lens of Unconditional Love.
In summary, the Pemptoneiran Soul is not seen as “passionate” about its Experiences in Matter but is known to understand the purpose behind those Experiences more. They are less governed by the physical, emotional, or psychological states of others as their ground is more solid in and with their Spirit …. IF THEY DO THEIR SELF WORK HONESTLY. Just as with other Monads, those who are evolved can and do take advantage of others in many ways. A fine example for the Fifth Monad is one who is evolved over others and is considered a “cult leader” by others because they work towrads their personal benefit, not the benefit of the whole. Yes. That too is an Experience, but it is limiting in how far it can go inside of Universal Consciousness and Unconditional Love.
Divination 103
Fifth Monad - Cup Pips
Continuing our walk though the monadic Souls via the tarot, we now look at a Moand of Spirit, or of Consciousness. As we Journey here, we are wise to keep in mind that even though we change tenses often when writing about Divine Energy, it always was, always is, and always Will Be. We learned in Wahya Circle that for this level of Matter, in this Dimension, the Law of Conservation of Energy states that “energy can neither be created nor destroyed - only converted from one form of energy to another”. Pull these cards from your deck to lay before you and let us begin.
Recall what the previous Monads SIMPLY represent:
MONADS OF MATTER
The first Monad studied patterns of being in Matter; Experience of Physical,
The second Monad applied the patterns learned through Experience of Matter, Reactions of Emotion.
The third Monad applies different patterns for different reactions than the two previous physical Experiences as it utilizes Thought and Memory. (Mental)
MONADS OF SPIRIT
When the fourth Monad showed up, the patterns were studied in an interactive manner as many relationships between many things developed.
The fifth Monad followed and developed ways to practically utilize them. Where Tetroneira (four) was subjective, the fifth Monad wanted to understand all of existence objectively. Governed by observing the relationships between things Unconditionally is very important to the Fifth Monad when studying all facets of life. The Fifth Monad Soul likes to allow others to make decisions based on each individuals Free Will, even if the Fifth Monad knows the outcome of said decision. The Experience of the decision holds more value to understanding and evolution.
The primary task of a Pemptoneira Family is to create systems that are practical. Sometimes showing those others why their decision may be incorrect by allowing them to their own conclusion through guided objectivity. This can only be done through compassion, empathy, lack of judgment and many other aspects of a whole balanced being. Creating systems with which relationships between things that may be seen as a creative and beneficial pattern threads the choice in action or inaction to bring further bring about Universal Change. Utilizing cause and effect and understanding it can work many ways. Seeing the effect can cause another effect which changes the first effect into a cause. This is what Pentoneira sees. They are VERY capable of “playing the tape out” from many various perspectives and understanding the “why” in the reason a choice was made.
Because of that, many of the Fifth Monad family are scholarly to some extent, constantly reading or attending classes to continually increase their Knowledge of many things, not just top out one. The key phrase for this family is “To Study.”
So, let us study the tarot cards of ace through ten – of cups, or hearts in a traditional deck.
Ace of Cups - “Inner Joy & Peace”
All of the Cup cards, relative to the Fifth Monad, are Spirit’s Experience in Matter. This card measures our emotional honesty with Self, especially as we evolve metaphysically. We find that personal evolution is difficult to gauge when one only allows “one side” to speak, or come through. Or, we find an evolved Fourth Monad that is only hearing “love and light” in an Experience —even when “bad” things continue to occur with them and around them. It can appear as if they are not acknowledging those bad things when they happen — as they are a part of a Whole Experience.
One is wise to consider that they were warned of impending circumstances; that outcomes could have been revealed to them and they could have seen the patterns in order to change courses. But they chose to only allow the form of divination of only “upright” cards. Are they considering ALL possibilities when they do that? Does this benefit them in the highest, or to the highest of their ability? (Please note that some tarot and oracle cards do in fact have only upright cards but each card defines the full meaning and it is up to the reader to divine or utilize Intuition to determine the answer.)
In the evolved Fifth Monad Soul, Divine Unconditional Love is present. All sides of Experience are embraced when fully balanced with the highest benefit and potential is reached.
Dove
Do you see what some perceive as the Dove of Peace coming from above in this card?
Arthur Edward Waite had a lot to say about the dove in his work. He described it as the “Invocation and Descent of the Comforter” or Holy Spirit sent to renew the virtue of the Grail and to consecrate the Elements. Which are represented by the streams that flow from the cup.
In England, during the Middle Ages, the Eucharist (wafer with the cross) was reserved in a Columbarium, or Dove-House. (A “columbarium’ is what we place cremains in today.) At the time, the columbarium was often a vessel shaped like a dove.
“There is the flight of the mystical dove from the casement to inmost Shrine, as if the bird went to renew the virtues of the Holy Graal.”
A symbol of Hope and Renewal, the Animal Ally Dove has often been associated with messages of Harmony and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Its presence in various cultural and spiritual contexts highlights its enduring significance as a messenger of Peace and a symbol of Compassion and Unity. Additionally, the Dove maintains its pagan association with Goddess Venus/Aphrodite and with Love (Waite includes the ancient pagan mysteries in the Secret Tradition). The Dove blesses all of us with supernatural gifts, like the Gift of Tongues (pictured as Yods), and so it can be associated with the ancient “language of the birds” or gift of divination and with miracles. A true Gift from the Goddess.
Didn’t we say this card represents someone on a strong spiritual Path?
Divine Hand & Elements
Looking at such a spiritually powerful card as the Ace of Cups is, we see the Divine Hand piercing through a water mist cloud holding a metal chalice. (This is perceived differently on different Paths.) It is seen pouring out of this large chalice forming five slim water fountains. It is perceived to represent the five senses or the Elements. These fountains can also mean the five points of life found within the pentacle, or the Fifth Stream Cycle of Consciousness. These “five points of life” introduced in the Tarot sometimes referred to as the Book of Life are our Key to knowing that understanding this is to understand the Monads and Streams of Consciousness. That this is not a “divinatory tool” alone.
Every Path leads to Water.
The hand is presenting this to existence – humankind, saying, “this is for you, this is your Path, this is your beginning, this is your support, this is your destination, this is your mission, this is you, this is All That Is.”
Five is so much more than what is seen here. Five is:
Five Senses
Five Ways of Salvation
Five Gates of Grace (from Masonic ritual)
Five Wounds of Christ
Five Points of the Pentagram
Five Petals of the Rose that Rest upon Five Leaves (the fingers)
Four Elements plus Spirit, or aether—the quintessence
Five Faces — Hanuman, Hayagriva, Narasimha, Garuda and Varaha (Hindu)
Five Finger People - (Dineh and how they relate tribes as humans)
The number “five” is sacred around the world.
Yods
These drops, in the shape of the Hebrew letter Yod are found on many of the Tarot cards, generally signifying divine Grace. Shaped like a flame a Yod is the divine spark of creation that is the foundation of all the other letters and is the first letter in the Tetragrammaton or four-letter name of God. Again, there are 26 yods and Eoin Keith Boyle notes in the comments that this is the sum of the 4-lettered name of God, the Tetragrammaton, in Kabbalistic gematria. They are also the shape of the tongues of fire at Pentecost:
“They saw tongues like flames of a fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:3-4.
Waite, calls it the divine spark or star-fire that is sympathetically attracted to its origin in God. It is Spirit fructifying the Soul, primarily of the Fifth Monad Soul as it evolves. These drops can also be seen as alchemical dew, transmuting and transforming each of us individual Divine Works.
Waterlilies
Water lilies are the symbol of enlightenment -- one of the more potent meanings this flower has is changeability. See? Someone is on a “divinely guided Path”. The water lily is planted through movement of the undercurrents of the water, it then is somewhat covered with rich soil on the bottom of the river or pond. The water lily sprouts and begins to move toward the Sun, once it grows past the water’s surface it breathes the air and is sustained by the Sun. Each night it returns to under the water’s surface and springs back into the full sun light and clean air the next day. This is why many Buddhist Paths choose the lotus, or water lily.
This screams of Fifth Monad Souls.
This card like most cards asks questions, reveals what is going on under the surface of a situation, and above the surface, gives suggestions and outcomes if the suggestions are taken. Specifically the Ace of Cups’ main meaning is related to emotions, love or friendships or partnerships. Communication is another broad stroke here, asking questions, how we communicate and how we receive communication from others or for that fact animals, and even nature Herself speaks completely on the objectivity of the Fifth Monad Soul taking in all that it has learned through its Experiences of Matter and making a decision, or movement, towards the benefit of Spirit of Self.
Ace of Love
Love is a catalyst for change. Unconditional Love is the greatest catalyst for change. An individual on this Path has great love for all things around them. Real. Non-Judgmental… Love. This is the Path of the Fifth Monad. This Path is arrived at both naturally and with continued Shadow Work and work on Self. Many believe Love chooses us and that as we receive that love, we should try to send it back out into the world —or at least the community with which we are receiving the love. Then there are those who believe we are wises to choose Love FIRST. The love given is equal in what is given to Self and Other. Love is Unconditional. Love has no boundaries. Love trumps Fear and Pain. Love is best received through active gratefulness. Love fulfills all of our potentials. Love is not one sided, thus love is shared. Love is motive.
As every seen and unseen action is taken by the motive of either love, pain or fear, choose love. Love is a binding energy. Love flourishes outside bitterness and anger. Love flourishes outside of the unfound un-forgiveness. Love is a blessing that produces more blessings. Love simply produces more love.
Love is a Path, destination, place, Being and action word. Love is a garden that flourishes when fed, watered and found in every place in existence.
Pure Unconditional Love is not yet completely realized by many. Especially Self Love. It is still bigger and deeper than any human imagines, even me, Reverend Richoz. Soon all those that reside in this quiet garden will embrace a new love that has been pouring over existence since these planets began to move, and will continue long after they have stopped moving, or even exist in all Time, Space and Dimenison.
Some humans ridicule love and the statement, “Love is the answer.” What if this is a sound truth to be applied over wars, over humanity, is it worth trying?
Love is actionable strength. Love is trying to understand another. Love is protecting your life’s missions. The Divine, whatever that is to you, gives you an over flowing love.
Returning to the card, these five streams can also move upward into the cup from the water below. Meaning there are more answers or approaches than just one way, NO MATTER THE APPROACH, it is always taken with love in the Heart.
As each Monad soul family entered this physical plane of Matter, it had a major mission to bring forward evolution through co-operation between all things. Can you imagine the task? Thus, it is up to you, Practitioner, to enter into this world to find out which Monad you are currently and mission to push forward. (As that is the direction our dimensional time appears to be moving.) Most growth is a by-product of love or close relationships or long lasting relationships which all go through renewal. The Ace of Cups loudly pronounces this heart renewal. Our loving heart is a wide open gate to the Divine. This card says, “You are highly valued, you are respected and have been ready to expand your mission as well as your social circle. This card tells of a new happier life for you if you discover your family soul or not, if you find your mission or not. Why? You are already working within your mission within your Monad, within Deity. Either way, you are already in the very center
Two of Cups - “Two of Hearts”
When two hearts beat as one. ♬
Spirit Experiences Awareness through Matter
As above, so below. Nuclear fission was “discovered” in December 1938 over Christmas vacation by physicists Lise Meitner and Otto Frisch. They made a startling discovery that would immediately revolutionize nuclear physics and lead to the fateful atomic bombs. The energy they stumbled upon is Divine in nature. Perpetual. “God-like” to some. In science, in self-sustained fission, a neutron causes an atomic nucleus to split, and this gives off more neutrons that in turn cause nearby atoms to break apart, giving off yet more neutrons, in a chain reaction. In the first split, “one becomes two”.
”When Divine Energy, or Spirit became Matter, pushing through the Veil, it split with all its essence into every piece, over, and over, and over.”
~Reverend Richoz via Science
“All of the spiritual, ethereal, eternal parts of Primeval Deity remained in the Goddess. In this sense Goddess is thought of as a continuation of Primeval Deity, since the consciousness of Primeval Deity is one of the Spiritual parts that remained with Her.” Don Lewis, Correllian Nativist Tradition High Priest
Looking at this card we see a communion, loyalty and emotional commitment. Spirit loves Matter, and Matter loves Spirit, Unconditional is their love. These are Key words for this card relating to this Monad.
This is one of the twelve cards of the Tarot that presents a simple stage upon which we Experience Matter. Yes, there is a scene. Upon closer inspection we can clearly see some of the symbols that are standing upon that stage, very delineated from the rest of the story scene. Do you see them? This stage can mean that this event happening in our life is not all that it seems on the surface but just actors acting out our constant thoughts. There is more to Experience than Matter alone. Or this stage may mean that there is finally realization that the time between lives we each live are becoming shorter and shorter and that they are beginning to be seen as one long life, like living on a Continuum, slowly becoming Spirit, or entering our “Light Body”, or “Thetan” or “Divine Consciousness”, or whatever is believed to be happening. The rainbow that bridges all of our lives is becoming shorter and shorter, or physical life all are in a role of love within the Fifth Monad.
Further viewing into the Two of Cups, we see the Caduceus and the Staff of Hermes. These represent health and divine power. More symbolism shows us that the red lion’s head is an Egyptian symbol for the Sun. Notice a small white house in the far background with a red roof which is the same house of the 10 of Cups in the RWS, but not because the artist did it, but because the story tells of it. This can also be paired with the lover’s card.
All in all, this card represents our comfort zone between Matter and Spirit. Most times we are balanced in it, especially in the Emotional realms, but only if we do our Self Work. It says to some, “be happy in the simple pleasures of existence.” A soul represented by this card on this Path relates to this simplicity and lessened need for material things. In a spiritual context, the Two of Cups indicates that we have a connection to Spirit, our Divine Source, and are ideally in a strong suit for our station in Matter. We will be finding balance and harmony continually on our spiritual Path. We are open of Heart of love and positive energy that the Universe is sending.
World Working - Bast - Solstice altar of Reverend Richoz 2019
Three of Cups - “Abundance”
This card reflects that the Fifth Monad person fully embraces most Experiences and gives their entire Heart to the relationships or Experiences in which they find themselves. This is a reunion, celebration of a long season of Work, a Spiritual Homecoming. It can also be Shadow or Soul Work of pieces of energy coming back to Self from across the continuum of Time.
It is time to harvest the crop that we so lovingly tended as we called those pieces home. The challenge may be in how to solve an issue in one’s life through community, since the main theme of this card is friendship; thus accomplishment with others…. and that includes Matter and Spirit.
Some feel this is not only Work with fellow humans, but Animal and Plant Allies, other Spiritual Beings, Guides and entities of other realms and Dimensions. No matter the source of the energy, it represents the Fifth Monad Soul working with groups coming together to Focus on a common emotional goal or State of Being. Peace. Love. Unity. Balance. People reaching out emotionally to one another to encourage this healing occurs often for this Soul Monad. It speaks of a sense of nonjudgmental community, and can indicate the time to get more involved by helping directly is upon them. This Fifth Monad person looks at a group, Community, or collection of energies and determines a balanced and diplomatic course of action that provides healing and completion for the whole.
The number three in the card represents the same — celebration, creation, ideas, community, gatherings, and expansion of Spirit Self. It is again a masculine energy number in a feminine energy suit which highlights the active quality of emotions, communication, friendship, and community. This card is related to the Empress card in the Major Arcana (Key III) which represents the divine feminine among many other things. All of the queens are also related to the Empress and Queens are the third court cards.
Pumpkins and grapes are both vined fruits, showing our intertwining connections. In a spiritual context, the Three of Cups - Fifth Monad Soul can indicate that they may find themselves doing group work or interacting with others on a spiritual Path in group scenarios that will boost energy and teach new ways of connecting to Spirit. Embrace these new spiritual friends and accept the opportunities to learn. Idealistically, the Fifth Monad Soul is being called forth to not only continue Self Work, but to being healing in the Community in which they reside.
Notice the number of hands seen coming from the females. How many do you count? That is indicative of the Monad this card represents. 5. Now, starting with the LEFT HAND of the lady in reddish garb before you, trace with your finger — an imaginary line connecting each hand. This creates an upward pointing pentagram which represents the Spirit ascending above Matter. The top point represents the Element of Spirit, the other four points represent the four Spiritual Elements. But, make no mistake, if this card appears in a reading, it does NOT mean that individual is evolved into or through the Fifth Monad. There are other obvious clues … like Unconditional Love, Forgiveness and other qualities of this Soul. (Tracing only the outside of the outside of the hands with a line also creates an upward pointing triangle, alchemical masculine energy lies in this card, remember?)
Four of Cups - “Release”
Monadically speaking, this card represents the Fifth Monad family moving into a state of not being primarily interested in the results of cause and effects, as a micro view. They acted “locally” through the Three of Cups. Now in the Four of Cups they can act more “globally”. They are more interested in pondering about the cause of a situation, in a more macro point of view. They are interested in the back story, the reasons why something happened. Not simply beings of Earth or the Plant and Animal Allies that reside there, but the planets, the solar system and beyond. And what is beneath the waves of our great oceans?
Not that they think simple cause and effect between people is not important — it is — it is simply that they do not start there when evaluating an issue or subject, especially if they have NOT done their Work in Self. They can sometimes bog down in thoughts regarding The Monads of Matter. However, this person can sometimes also become caught up in self-turmoil, perceived as “stuck in your head”, when considering an issue or event without seeing the solution or outcome with an Open Heart. (Back to that consistent Work on Self.)
Maybe they are not ready to give up so much Matter?
Because this is a card of stagnation, generally speaking, we see how the Ace of Cups (floating above) shows up to deliver opportunities for this individual. They alone are usually at the root of that “stagnation”. This is the Time to grow and explore in ways that may not have been revealed as of yet. Some interpret this scene as “the hand of Goddess” (or God) delivered the same opportunity three times previously and this individual could not yet see to take the direction or opportunity, or merely did not look up and see the Divine - Universal help. It is admittedly difficult to release physical, emotional, and mental things — no matter what they are, without full realization of Unconditional Love.
This is a sign of the Three Fold Law found on several Paths . A grave misinterpretation by those who learn from the “uninitiated”, this simply means that Universal Energy can come back to you in those three ways: Physically, Emotionally, or Mentally. Not that something we Will in Magick or Medicine necessarily comes back “three times”. We know EVERYTHING has a “cost”, this simply reminds many that that cost can come from each of us in ANY way, anywhere, in our lives. In a spiritual context, the Four of Cups can indicate that we have been feeling disillusioned or are wishing our life away wondering what if. We are wise to open our Heart and dissolve regrets from our past and refocus on the present Work at hand. There are abundant things that are happening all around us. A great way to do this is to think of one or two things that we are grateful for in each day, it will help to better focus on the present and on the positive. Meditation and Reiki would be helpful to bring us back into balance and help to release the negative energy we have been carrying, even if it is from a recent T/trauma. No one is impervious, they simply have tho be hit with the correct Key to unlock that door. Keep perspective.
Symbolically, as this individual is seated on a hill, sheltered under a Divine Tree, with crossed arms and crossed legs, it is said that he is in deep meditation, because of the two crossings. We can also trace that upright pentagram with the points and head, beginning with one side of the other, depending on a “banish” or “protect” Intent. This Fifth Monad person found in the Four of Cups, having regularly Work with Self, has the upper hand in discerning the Path of their Enlightenment. Spiritually, they are in a good place.
Five of Cups - 5 by 5 - “Everything is as it should be.”
So, you decided to let go of Matter a little bit. It may have been “too much, too soon” in pursuing Matter back into Spirit…. but we have to remember that it is OKAY to be a little uncomfortable sometimes. It is okay to have Pain or Sadness, or other seemingly non-beneficial emotions. They Key? Feel them. Allow them to wash through you…. then… LET THEM GO. Allow your Self, your Higher Self, feel that change of Matter back into Spirit. Allow this body of Matter to stop functioning as it once did. Or, you can fight it. But, it is a choice. To choose to “fight” the Universal Constant of Change and Keep things your way” is out of unhealthy Ego. Each Age and Stage that we pass through, is an Experience. No two are the same.
Why are you stopping them?
This Fifth Monad individual is mourning the passing of Matter from their Spirit. See the spilled cups? These represent Matter. Spilled before you are the dreams of Matter, “red, gold and green”. (This color theme is traditional to many indigenous humans.) Physical. Mental. Emotional. Three States of Being in Matter. Maybe you see the spilled colors even differently than Rider, Waite, Smith, Reverend Richoz…. no two perspectives are the same.
Do you see a pattern yet?
We are allowed our grief of change. We are in the Fifth Monad of Self, we recognize what has passed before us and we are now preparing to move back into Spirit. Maybe this was a surprise. Maybe we were not even Awake for it… but it happens to everyone.
All Matter Dies. All Experiences of Matter transform into Experiences of Spirit. Are you ready to see them? Remember, YOU area WHOLE BEING. Prepare yourself. ♥ Looking at this card, we are reminded that everything is as it should be… and their is a bridge across the River of Consciousness. You do not have to fear crossing the River.. If you have been working in the Astral, with your Altar and Ancestors, you KNOW what you will be crossing to. Are you rady?
Focusing on the numeral five in this card, we recall what we already know. (Leaned in Wahya and Golanv Circles) We learned an individual who thinks or feels like they are “at their worst”…. skeptical and bitter.
But why? Have they not released states of Matter that no longer server their Spirit? What Path is the Magi walking? The Medicine Woman, or Healer? What higher purpose are they seeking?
Releasing and letting go that which no longer serves to benefit their Self on their Path or in there Stream of Consciousness, they LET GO. This shows the Fifth Monad person how to find Balance. TRUST. SELF. Balanced, Fifth Monad individuals are exciting explorers of the unknown, the secret, the hidden, "the “occult”. This is often where you find Practitioners who have actually done their Shadow and Ego work quite extensively and on a Time continuum. They are also no stranger to Soul Work. Those represented by this card are not afraid to enter uncharted waters, even alone, as they can comfortably be a bit of a loner at times.
Sound familiar?
This is addressed with being Conscious of the act “letting go”. Let go with Intent and Purpose…. AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Remaining Heart Strong will help this transition to truly Experiencing Spirit in Matter. As we have learned before, this person is not looking at the entire picture, the entire issue. Thinking “All is lost”, but that comes from the inability to LET GO of the things of Matter. Once they have been Experienced in the ways that bring you Joy and Happiness, and Comfort and Peace, let it go. Let the Experience, the energy of that Experience, serve others to. This is part of a Servants Heart. This is what is meant.
Why should “only you” be Happy? Why should “only you” find Joy?
When we learn to LET GO of control, and let others find their Happiness, or what brings them Joy, when we are in the Fifth, we FEEL that Happiness and Joy and Peace and Comfort emanating from Other. THAT is a Servants Heart. Find your Harmony… Balance… let it be.
As an Experience of Matter, the three cups that lay on their sides were once full. Did we squander some Time? Let it go. Make a conscious effort to see the Path that took you to regret…. LET IT GO.
The home you see across the River? They are not far from home because we can see what “home” is when we meditate, lucid dream, remote view, and all the other practices that come along with this level of existence. We are not trapped in our situations. Not ever. We are exactly where we have chosen to be. Because the Universe has supplied a bridge to cross to the other side, … well, you just have to see it. The Plant and Animal Allies do. They never lost sight. The Tree People see it… Rock People… you can too. Some say this individual is sad because a friend tried to poison him. Maybe. But did they choose to be there? How much control of one’s Path was given to Other?
The Fifth Monad individual takes a moment, somewhere on their timeline, to consider what they have lost, or what did not serve them to their Highest Benefit of Experience, hence, the “mourning cloak” … and perceived letting go.
Long story short, in a spiritual context, the Five of Cups indicates that we may be holding on to feelings of deep anger, frustration or resentment. As the saying goes, “holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” Forgiving those who have wronged us, for our own sake in order to move forward on our Spirit Path, or Blue Path, is crucial. Consider therapy or energy healing to help LET GO of these emotions attached to Shadow, Ego or Soul. Try to visualize those who have been non-beneficial coming to us to apologies for the pain they caused in the past. See it? Ask the Universe to help to forgive them, forgive yourself and release the pain that has been holding or stagnating in a non-beneficial pattern.
Six of Cups - “Put a little Love in your Heart”
Are the childlike souls at the house we saw in card five of the cups? Self-less and giving without expectation of return is where these souls now are — a state of Being that is encoded into the card, “Five petals, Fifth Monad”. Giving love freely and unconditionally to everything around them, they share the Knowledge contained in the flower. They are blessed, so htey share the blessing. Now, an off-balance Fifth Monad soul will give “too much” of Self to another is they are not mindful. Yes, give in Love, not to one’s detriment.
Monad wise, this card reflects that this Fifth Monad Soul family forms long relationships that can be a life time, or throughout many lifetimes. The better the foundation of that relationship, the more beneficial the relationship becomes. Doing Group Work through the lens of Unconditional Love and without judgment tightens this connection spiritually.
Visiting the past. or an old friend, that is returning into one’s life Path is common, but especially when this card shows up. Now, because we are in the Fifth Monad, this is usually on a higher vibration than that of our past — current or lifetimes passed. “That feeling” is NOT always us falling “hea over heels” for someone. Sometimes that person has something to share with us or learn from us. Sadly, we let out Ego get in the way — way back when, and it did not quite work out. DO NOT GO REKINDLE A COLD FIRE. Siply try to see if you can determine what it is without asking to many questions of them.
Listen! What is the Universe reminding your of, or showing you, by this individual showing back up?
Is there a Guide you have been ignoring? An Ancestor? They too have always been there. They may have even been that small quiet voice you did not listen to one time. LET GO with Love. Do not overlook the inner child when working to heal with Shadow Work. Pay attention to patterns in daily life, by looking back. Follow the thread. Hold on to it. By the Six of Cups, in the Fifth Monad, patterns do not elude us as easily anymore. Those around us may think we are “crazy” for the connections we make….. but TRUST THE PROCESS. This card also shows up if we are Fifth Monad and have waited to step into a new activity for whatever reason.
Why did you wait again?
The time is passing to move forward … NOW we must act. Sharing is the obvious meaning of this card, but then again sharing what, and with who? Why did you put yourself off again? Are we sharing? Are we celebrating simplicity, or friendship or kindness? The answer lies with you.
In a spiritual context, the Six of Cups can indicate that we need to keep spiritual practices simple. Our spirituality is an intrinsic part of who we are but sometimes in our eagerness to connect to Spirit we can over-complicate things. Remember that person showing up again? If you have been struggling to connect, go back to basics. The Six of Cups can also indicate that we may find ourselves rediscovering rituals or traditions from our childhood and integrating them into our spiritual practice. This is a good spiritual anchor of both Happiness and Joy. The soul of a Fifth Monad is generous and emotionally fulfilling to others. They fill the proverbial Cup of others because their Divine Cup is full of Joy endless. ♥
Seven of Cups - “Walking on the Spirit side of me”
For the Fifth Monad in relation to the Seven of Cups, these individuals are incredibly curious and their main research tool is study. Interpreting this card through this Monad family, this individual is studying all patterns in all things. It also must be considered that this person may be over indulging as well, which only makes any perceived depression worse. Sometimes found in stagnation, it is a struggle to choose one’s life priorities sometimes. Look for that Divine Guidance. While this action is ultimately a private decision and solely yours to make, do you — or are you, deciding to move towards your Highest Benefit? This card tells us that “everything is not as it seems”.
When we speak of Time, Space and Dimension, it is a difficult concept for those not adept at the practices of a Fifth Monad Soul to see. In the Fifth Monad it speaks to us and tells us that we are exploring our spiritual side and there are many forms of spiritual practice that we are interested in. This occurs often in those who have had the SAME practices for many years and have NEVER changed. When this appears in a tarot reading, it can also indicate that we are ignoring our a particular Path for some reason, OR we are ignoring a spiritual ability that we may have. Think clairs. We are clearly lying to ourself or others and are are not putting the work into developing. If this is the case, try to choose a handful of spiritual practices that appeal most and work on them one at a time. Something like a meditative practice is typically already sufficient by the Fifth Monad. Sitting in stillness is a switch. BUT, what about a clar, or lucid dreaming? Are we ignoring THAT practice, or saying “I cannot”? Why are we saying this?
Stop neglecting Spirit growth. The words we find that represent this Fifth Monad card can be applied to many spiritual practices.
Lots of options, choices, multiple possibilities, opportunities, picking and choosing, decisions, procrastination, dreaming, fantasy, illusion, wishful thinking, imagination, hallucinations, meditation. What will you settle on? All of existence is open to you! In Matter, the cups are surrounded by clouds, which symbolize dreams, wishes, and desires. Are you doing work in the Astral regularly? Should you start? What about Lucid Dreaming? Think you may conquer that in this lifetime? The Seven of Cups serves as a reminder that not everything is as it seems and cautions us against being swayed by illusions and unrealistic ideals, even in Spirit.
Baby steps. Trust your Self!
Eight of Cups - “Balance between Spirit & Matter”
As stated previously, the Fifth Monad person is seems aloof and not fully connected to their Experiences …BUT THEY ARE. They are not guided by the same principles of pattern that others are. Constantly changing their relations or attachments in Matter in order to fit their changed understanding at the moment in Spirit.
With the red cloak, we remember there is passion and determination in what has been chosen. This card says, time to move on in life, and embrace a new opportunity, going on a quest. Change is constant. Follow instincts, and Intuition — it is past time now, but never too late! As indicated by the staff, you are supported by the Divine! This individual may need to turn around though and make a few decisions before moving on to a new location or partake in a new venture or life in a spiritual sense. An example, marrying someone that does not benefit you, elevate you, compliment you, share with you, … being in a situation that you must simply start over with. Another example, take or don’t take the new job. What does your Intuition tell you? Why are you doubting?
This is a passionate decision — we are in the Fifth Monad family. This is how we Experience Matter. We do things we have not done before. Remember, it is okay to be a little uncomfortable. Can you see the outcome? Can you see what happens when you play the tape “all the way out”?
See the eclipse? Eclipses are powerful and represent moments of change and transformation. Illusions are revealed and WE cannot hide any more from our true knowing.
Do not live with regret. Heal. Find what brings you Joy. If that includes walking away from all you have known, DO IT. This Fifth Monad Soul suggests a sense of mystery, introspection, and the shedding of one's outward persona as they embark on a Journey of self-discovery. We have left the trappings of Matter by this point. You cannot be bought. You cannot be bribed. Your thoughts and feelings are sound. You have played the tape out and see the Golden Thread. You choose to follow it…. from Matter to Spirit.
Battered Women and Children
From a Fifth Monad Tarot Reader with very strong Intuition:
”I noticed over the years that this card would come up again and again with battered and abused women. I might ask the question, ‘What do you need right now’ and this card came up SO many times. When the woman was stuck in the emotional indecision of the seven of cups and could not find the strength to move away, this card would reveal hope. I also used to work in a Tarot business that was near a red light district and the prostitutes would come to me for Tarot readings. For many (but not all) they had suffered an abusive childhood and the eight of cups would come up to ask them to walk away from their current occupation.
If you get this card again and again in your Tarot readings and you are suffering from abuse I urge you to seek out help. You are not alone. The Tarot is trying to help you find peace in your life. It can be terrifying to walk away and even potentially dangerous but please reach out. You will find help if you ask the universe for it. This card is linked to the Major Arcana card, Strength and you have incredible courage inside if you dare to find it.”
Nine of Cups - “Completion in Matter by Spirit”
The Fifth Monad individual is completely satisfied in knowing they have studied a subject or had an Experience and is happy they now understand its concepts as it took great effort, Self Discipline, and hard work in their studies to arrive at the point of thorough understanding. This is a card of personal Satisfaction, Joy, and Fulfillment for the Fifth Monad. We are content in all facets of our life, including connections, career, leisure, goodness in life, and more, when this card appears in a Tarot reading. We are savoring life's wealth and intensely feeling all oour emotions.
This card says to us — Happy. We are able to express Self in our work as well as remain balanced and non-judgmental regarding the work of others. With family and friends, we find Compassion and Unerstanding. We are free in Self. Nine is the number of completion and introspection.
When we are willing to be our true Self, we will then see much more success. Nines seek the Higher-self. Sometimes this card is referred to as the wish card. And this card can be utilized when asking a yes/no question, which this card’s answer is, “Yes.”.
Visually, this card shows an individual that is proud of their achievements, which any person can be. Are you? What are you holding on to and allowing yourself? What do you need to “let go” of in order to enjoy the accomplishments of Self?
Be mindful of temptations puling your from your Path. We cannot know everything that is going to shake us from our trees, but we can prepare by healing those parts of our Self that we can. Remember, back at the very beginning of the Cups Journey, they were presented with their first Cup from Spirit? The cup positively overflowed with the potential of happiness, emotional fulfillment, compassion, love, creativity and spirituality… the choice has to be made to walk the Spirit Path, or the Blue Path. Did you? By the Fifth Monad, we are Aware. We know there are many Monads and Streams of Consciousness. We become adept at the travel between them… we can swim!
Ten of Cups - “Unity”
This card depicts a positive outcome. The happily ever after card does not come in without consistent work. This is a card of completion. If there iare other Key words for this card it is Gratitude and Contentment with our life. Health and finances are good. Here we find the rainbow where all life is good, long-term success, long life. We have done the work and have lasting success. Even though the numeral is ten here, the value is one. So we can even add more insight by pulling all of the other cards whose value is one. Pull all the aces, the Magician, and the Wheel of Fortune, to help pull in even more regeneration, beauty or contentment into your life with Magick or Medicine.
A bridge between Spirit and Matter is seen as the rainbow.
In a spiritual context, the Ten of Cups indicates that we will be feeling very happy and positive in the choices we have made. Those around us, in our groups, in our homes, will also feel the benefits of the good energy radiating from us. We embrace Divine Unconditional Love a little easier. We find Forgiveness a little easier. We are harder to anger. We give more. It is also seen as a card of good luck and destiny so we may find our spiritual path is really falling into place when this card appears. We are, or we are becoming, more and more Harmonious with out environment of Matter and we are becoming Harmonious with our Spirit.
We are ultimately aligned with our spiritual Path when we draw this Fifth Monad card. ALL of the Cups are of Emotion in Spirit and Matter, and the Balance thereof.

Fifth Stream Cycle
The Star, Temperance, and The Hermit
“Activation”
Fifth Stream Cycle
The Fifth Stream Cycle is called Connection / Activation. This stage is realizing that we are Awake to Self continually, and that we have the ability to act. We can see different perspectives and see their cause and effect and how various interpretations of situations can change the outcome of those situations. Fifth Stream indviduals move beyond their own interests and work with others for humanities’ evolution and survival. Pure cooperation lives inside this Stream Cycle, effectively managing your own challenges by stretching your prospective and process, as well as sound wisdom.
Cards
These cards say we ALL have a choice to wake up as is given by Divine Free Will, or not. If still struggling with the “no other” concept or still dealing with an oversized Ego, self-importance or strong attachments at this point in your Journey, these will find this person will sometimes remain outside the choice to wake up. They do have the choice they just do not see it as theirs yet. Why? Explore that.
XVII The Star
“In time the Fire of Divine Experience would cool into stars, and from stars to Planets.”
Increase in a positive reputation, or someone coming into your life reminding you to uplift others. Stay the course, yet now you understand living in both worlds. Eight seven pointed stars shine above this woman’s head, reminding us of our history. This woman is willing to pour out all of herself to enter the Holiest of Holies, a complete willingness to give Self and the world this renewal. Completely willing to pour out all fear-based behavior. The sea of stars shining over this pond is a reflection of your radiant ancient light. Surrendering all un-forgiveness produces light and generosity. All of this on this Earth, all things in the cosmos are made from stars. To be clear, the light is in everything, even though we may not always see it or perceive it.
XIV Temperance
We see this winged woman pouring oil, from one chalice into another chalice while depicting an unnatural or impossible way to pour oil. This depicts the transformational space between --each breath, between space, between you and I, between one event and the next, one stage of life to the next. You see she wears the symbol of the sun on her forehead, as the sun shines brightly behind her. You can’t help but notice the Temperance card has the same energies as the Star card. This is the same winged being found in the Judgement card, and the Lovers’ card as well. Once you know your true nature, what will you do with this truth? What magick will you draw upon? When we love something our love is what will grow our clear life. If this is too big a notion then simply allow Self to truly see yourself, giving compassion to your-self this too is a star. To temper a sword one passes the blade through the fire before plunging the blade into the water making the blade stronger. Are you stronger? This card is especially important during Involution if it surfaces. Listen.
IX Hermit
Taking time to work on a project by yourself; this card expresses walking alone through life growing in Knowledge and doing so as you comfortably share your light in a quiet humble manner. Look closer at the Hermit’s light, inside is a brightly lighted star. Do not make your belief systems become too rigid, because you will find yourself alone. If you like being alone this is fine, clarify. If you do not then consider seeing things through gray shades instead of just black and white. Consider practicing mediations today so that you may shine the star light on your life. The Hermit is ready to overcome fear-based thought, once moving forward you cannot hesitate, keep moving forward when entering the Underworld, when entering Eternity. Know securely that if you are turly at the Hermit level, you are completely equipped. This trip is beyond Knowledge, beyond Matter, standing only on your light, holding your star lamp.
