Talking with the dead is generally thought to be impossible because many believe death ends life and the deceased can no longer communicate. However, as Practitioners of Arcane Arts, the practice of mediumship achieved. 

So, what is mediumship? 
Mediumship is the practice of communicating effectively with spirits of the dead and other entities of Spirit. ractitioners of mediumship are often called "mediums" or "spirit mediums".

Did you explore this when we explored our “Clairs”?

Different types of mediumship include séance tables, trance, and Ouija for tools and Focused Intent and Will without tools.

But what about dogma?

The Bible's view most times condemns seeking to communicate with the dead. Why? Most believe it is because the messages cannot be controlled by the Church.  They have not mastered that as they in general have not mastered their own personal life Experiences such as Shadow and Ego Work. Generally speaking, Christian dogma leaves the dead in the ground unconscious and resting until Jesus resurrects them. 

The book goes on to say being a Medium is forbidden, as are necromancy, and other practices that involve contact with the dead. 

What about Hinduism?

According to traditional Hindu beliefs, communicating directly with the dead is not considered a legitimate practice either.  Why? Most Hindus believe that when someone dies, their soul moves on to the next life through reincarnation, and attempting to contact them is seen as inconsistent with the core teachings of the religion.

Again, as a Practitioner of Arcane Arts, this is not found to be wholly true either. Time, Space and Dimensionality are relevant if they need or want to be.  No two cases are the same.

What about grief and the dead?

Grief and talking to a deceased loved one can be a normal part of the grieving process.  Some of us do it all the time because a piece is always with us until WE the individual let it go.  People may even talk to a deceased loved one because their brain picks up on frequencies beyond our common understanding and we receive messages. Songs. Animal Allies. Pictures. Again, no two communicate exactly the same.

What about technology and the dead?

Technology is fairly a new territory for exploration with Spirit.  Some have gotten silent phone calls from a loved one’s phone number.  A blank email.  Some have even decided that it is possible to create a simulated chatbot version of a deceased person using large language models (LLMs) that simulate their grammar usage.

How?

For example, a journalist created a chatbot version of his deceased fiancée using Project December, which was built on GPT-3 and began texting to they heart’s content.
