Welcome to the meat of the
Third Degree with Yona Circle!
While we will revisit our past three years of Leadership Training, as well as all of the Ethics concepts shared with you, the bulk of the next little while will be spent HERE with this material. It is one of the most difficult and in depth concepts that we explore, and in all honesty, very few make it through to the end.
A Note from Reverend Richoz, RN
Before you begin your Monadic studies, let me state this:
I put this material together. I cannot specifically credit any one Path or Being except my Higher Self or being Divinely Guided through channeling as I wrote; as I write. When there is a concept, something or someone, that inspired, or that states something similar, you will see them named. There is no specific text that I read to arrive at that point, but a culmination of all of them.
Through years of Magickal and Medicinal Experience, as well as reading and studying of other Paths such as Pythagoreans, Buddhism, Christianity, and Hinduism; through Knowledge shared by family who are indigenous (Tsalagi primarily); attending various classes at University of California – Irvine, all the way to Harvard for various metaphysical and divinity studies; receiving Shamanic certification from sects that are now defunct, as well as Cartomancy certifications (Wiccan); I have taken classes with everyone from Laurie Cabot and Christopher Penczak to Phyllis Curott and Selena Fox.
Something was missing from Magick to me.
Before I get into that, I must also acknowledge my attending “mundane” school during the expanding of my Knowledge that I now share with you as well. Beginning at North Metro Tech/Chattahoochee Tech a path of Visual Communications and Computer Science was chosen. Seeing the commonality between “man and machine”, I quickly switched to a path of medicine.
I became a licensed Health Care Technician, but that was not enough. Staying in the medical field, I pursued a Licensed Practical Nurse education and held that license for a number of years while I continued both my metaphysical and medicinal studies. In time, I pursued an advanced Registered Nurse education, ASN to BSN. The plan was to go for my doctorate in time, with a nursing edge. (I was inspired by some brilliant nurses! And, not all of them were RNs.)
However, the Universe had other plans for me.
In 2015, I developed a brain tumor. Everything halted.
The Universe siting me down in 2015 gave me that time I needed to step back and reTHINK my life, my Path, what I had Experienced and how best to move forward, not only in my life, but clearly with those around me in mind.
While in the hospital, I had amazing spiritual Experiences, even more than I had as a nurse, or fellow Path walker of any Path. I had the blessing of spiritual leaders from various Paths – reach out to me and ask to pray with me. Imams. Pastors. Preachers. Other nurses. Doctors. Absolute strangers.
Was this Divinity, Divine Energy, speaking to me?
I never knew such love from those around me. Yes, I was sick, but I was also hearing a message. That message that left the mouths of others and entered my only fully functioning ear, “write”. After about the fifth person told me that I needed to write, I lost count.
The curtain fell, and Time passed. I fought my way out of the hospital and back to almost full functionality. I knew I had to steel myself for the future. It is what I heard. But what exactly was I supposed to do?
“What” I was supposed to do was decided for me as I began to see the corruption in the spiritual community around me. I saw individuals taking advantage of other individuals for personal gain under the premise of “sharing Knowledge” --- regardless of Path. How greatly I disagreed with what they considered Knowledge and their Self-righteousness in how they shared it. It was still “gatekept” and it was by NO MEANS Unconditional. Even those who walk in Love only do so conditionally, even if that condition is only money. Regardless, just as other Paths, their doors were not open to everyone.
That was not me. But I had to learn the “hard way” as most of us do. (I could have learned this from the Illuminates of Thanteros in Europe when Magus D aligned with them, lo’ I did not.) In the years passed, we have tried to be “all Paths” are welcome. But, we simply do not have enough time to dedicate to one person until they understand what more can understand in less time.
Why so stringent on Time?
I do not know how much I have. As “living beings” none of us know, but I especially have a governor on my clock. Determining as much as I am able to about an individual prior to them walking through 3CMM is important to do. Especially the Intuitive part. Some Practitioners that come to us to learn are only here for a short while, but that is all their Being needs to “wake back up” and continue on their Journey. Others need the three years or more.
Longer story short, I am planting seeds to Trees of which I will never see the shade. I, with Lady Crystal and Reverend Fallingleaf. founded the National Black Hat Society and have helped other organizations seek justice in the actions that were against them in both financial and spiritual ways. Also with others walking with me, we founded All Paths Magickal School, which quickly became Three Circles Medicine & Magick due to the healing that many Paths the world over had shown me. They needed healing.
With our help, Consciousness is moving into a more beneficial way for the majority of us right now. May we continue to Work with it on this Journey.

Seven Streams
As we touched on with Wahya Circle, and learned more of throughout tarot divination with Golanv Circle, these next concepts are the perceived levels of existence in many Paths of Western Esoteric Magick. This concept is also understood in Buddhism, Hinduism, Rayology, and others. It is further believed that there are seven Stream Cycles of Consciousness, or just Streams of Consciousness, within the ennead (Nine) Monads. Many believe we must “master” each one as we Experience it fully within or through each life. Others believe we are to simply “Experience” that plane. Both beliefs are permitted as Free Will is given to all. It is advised as you walk through this Knowledge to begin a Journal if you have not already. This is a deep concept and writing it out in a way that YOU understand it best is the ideal way for you to absorb it. Everyone has a different method of learning, as we discovered in earlier studies. Please know, that some Practitioners do not realize these concepts until years have gone by. It is completely contingent on where the individual is when they pursue the Knowledge.
As an aside, the world or modern psychoanalysis only understands the first two levels of Self, “the baby waking up” and “being aware of Self”, to varying degrees. The community further breaks down these two Streams of Consciousness into its smallest components to better understand and Experience them. Modern psychology combines Experiences found through Physical, Emotional, and Mental Streams of Consciousness.
Seven Planes of Existence: As alluded to above, there are many Paths around the world that believe this is how the Goddess/Spirit interacts with God/Matter in each Stream Cycle. These planes are believed to defy categorization as they blend and overlap many times and in many ways.
PHYSICAL
The level at which we Experience the tangible – 5 senses – plane of “sensation”. State of being born into Matter.
”The beginning life is Physically in the womb; the baby is born.”
EMOTIONAL
The level in which we Experience emotional feelings inside ourselves and react emotionally to the Experience “outside” of us.
(This level is where Ego/Shadow Work begins.)
”The baby is born and is now Experiencing its existence in a limited capacity.”
MENTAL
The level in which we Experience thought, abstract concepts and their understandings. This is where we develop the tools to fully Experience both Physical and Emotional states of being in a more fulfilling way.
’The baby knows if it cries, its caregivers will come and hold it, feed it, change it.”
(We touched on the role of caregivers and the creation of Shadow in Wahya Circle with ITB and Koshin West. Please review that if you do not recall it.)
ASTRAL
The level in which we create our existence and its conditions.
(This is a place for Deep – Trauma Healing - Shadow Work)
We begin to reach out to the spiritual.
”The baby dreams and maps what it has learned in its awakened life. It begins to mirror what it has learned.”
This is where we can also do that deeper Shadow or Ego Work in safety, or in our safe spiritual space.
SOULAR
Where we begin to interact and where each PREVIOUS Stream becomes uniquely effected by our Deity, Divine Energy, or What Name You Call It, whatever that may mean to us. Divine, Universal, and other energies of Time and Sapce flow through each of us. It is believed by many that we have given up Ego and are healed from Shadow in the state. We are comfortable spiritually. We work in the Astral regularly. We are not emotionally or physically reactive in non-beneficial ways to our personal Experiences.
MONADIC
That level of our Self IS that part of us that is whole with Divine Energy, Spirit, Deity, What Name You Call It. Unconditional Love and Ultimate Forgiveness have been found and exercised for Self and others. We begin to cross back to our Divine, or Spirit energy. Think Buddhist monks, or Sannyasin, who discipline themselves to this level of spirituality through meditation.
It is said, “Monadic Consciousness is the smallest unit of awareness that exists within the Fabric of Consciousness. It is the single point of egoic awareness that arises as the result of the intensification in the Fabric of Consciousness.” (More than one Path agrees with this.) Most Paths relate Monadic to that Spirit specifically. It is not outside of it. If it helps, think of this in levels of energy points in the body. As one moves up the body, it is more aligned with Spirit than Matter. This would be relative to ‘Third Eye’ energy from one’s Spirit, but our BEing can still interact with it.
DIVINE ENERGY
Where we are at peace with ALL of existence and can Experience true Unconditional Love with all things. We have fully achieved what Buddhists call our “Light Body”. We have healed Shadow and Ego of our current Life Line, or Soul Journey. Again, if it helps, think ‘Crown energy’ with direct connection to our Spirit, Higher Self, or Divine.
UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS (DEITY, ONENESS, ENERGY, WHAT NAME YOU CALL IT.)
Divine as it comes to each of us, in a way that we personally understand and Unconditionally accept. It is believed that we are a part of Spirit Oneness.
For Practitioners of Yona Circle, we will dive deeper towards the level that begins at the Monadic Self. This is most easily studied with the RWS system of tarot as a visual tool and point of reference. Please also note, because the analogy of an infant is utilized to convey the concept DOES NOT mean that any one of us are “infantile” per se. We have simply found using this analogy makes the most sense to the most Practitioners when first learning this concept. If YOU see a more widely accepted analogy, please share it and we will attempt to gauge its understanding when teaching this concept as well!

Nine Monads
The term “monad” (from Greek μονάς monas, "singularity" in turn from μόνος monos, "alone") is used in some cosmological philosophies and various cosmogonies to refer to a most basic or original substance. Some consider it primordial. What is the difference in the two schools of Thought?
Cosmology is the study of the structure, origin, evolution, and ultimate PHYSICAL fate of the universe, MATTER.
Cosmogony is the study of the origin of the universe energetically, SPIRIT.
Cosmologists investigate the physical laws that govern the universe, while cosmogonists focus on the creative or formative forces that give rise to the universe.
As originally conceived in Ancient times by great minds, it was due to a seeming usurp of Pythagorean deep thought that the Monad Concept swept out into esotericism throughout the Western Hemisphere. In the 1700s, the theory was built upon by Leibniz metaphysically. It is the concept of a Supreme Being, Divinity or the totality of All Things, as you interpret it. It is believed that this varied energy resides within each of us and the realms in which we operate. It is believed to always be with us.
Learning Through Tarot
The easiest way to learn the Monadic Concept and their accompanying Stream Cycles of Consciousness is through tarot. This is specifically noted as the concept heavily influenced the cards from many RWS system of decks. (Not always Oracle cards) There is great connection with the symbology of the cards and the teaching of the Concepts. (Any deck that is true to the system and did not remove symbols will work. This type of deck is for study purposes ONLY and is NOT an endorsement for RWS.)
Let us also say again, to be clear in what we are presenting, there are NINE Monads though it is probable that there are more. We are quite new at our Awareness as a species. This level of Consciousness does not come easy for most Practitioners of ANY PATH. Every Monad has every personality in every variation of manifestation under the Sun via the Stream Cycles that make it up. Again, these are known as the SEVEN Stream Cycles of Consciousness Every Stream Cycle has every variation through the lens of each Soul Monad.
Spend some time with these definitions and looking at these pictures in this Lesson. Know that your Matter and attachment to it, lessens as you move through the Stream Cycles. It is believed that the energy of Spirit crosses back into Matter through Physical manifestation and visa versa, over and over again.
Consciousness then transitions between each state of Experience, some times this does NOT occur over a lifetime or even two lifetimes, but it is believed by many Practitioners that one can remain in a single “type” (Stream) many times over, until all Experiences for that Stream of Consciousness can be Divinely Experienced.
It is often found that we have to take time to Experience each piece of each Cycle with each Monad several times before we master it. Again, many believe that this in turn can take many lifetimes. (If you stay Conscious of your Souls Work and walk the continuous life as a Practitioner of Soul Magick, the lens changes through which you view things as you grow in the Knowledge gained through the Experience of Matter. It shifts from MICRO to MACRO. One will begin to notice many Soul Connections, Soul Mates, or manifestations swimming in the same Stream of Consciousness with ours over and over as well.)

Focus on ONE Stream for ONE Monad to begin.
Numerically, let us say that a person is able to move through all stages of Experience as the Beings of Matter that we are in that Stream Cycle in ONE lifetime. Considering there are Nine Monads, it would take nine lifetimes to move through that many Experiences as having the Experience of all Stream Cycles (7) per Monad (9) becomes astronomical to have in ONE life time. We are not saying that it is impossible — but the Divinity of that Being must then be taken into account. To this day, no one has seen a ‘second coming’ nor a ‘tulkus of all tulkus’, not any stated “messianic” occurrence. We are simply "“looking” when we should be “seeing” —and we are all not there as Conscious Beings, in my humble opinion.
We are not there yet on a whole as far as Experiences go. <3 Not I, nor anyone have I yet encountered, a BEing as evolved as that. If you think you know someone who ponders the “whys” of Consciousness through Time and Space, or Dimension — works on Shadow and Ego to benefit in the highest, or more, PLEASE, introduce us. There are not many of us who view and do and think and know some of the concepts that are expressed beyond the day to day of human life. It is of my opinion, we have so much more to Experience beyond Matter.
What we find more often is a Practitioner becoming stuck in a cycle and having to repeat it for several lifetimes. We see Shadow and Ego Work holding them from starting or moving on in their Soul Work. A Practitioner who does not work on Self, Shadow, Ego and many other facets of Experience will stay in the same Stream of Consciousness until they do. At least that is the majority of belief across Time, and they all cannot be “wrong”. A HUGE current hang up for most humans on Earth is DEATH. Their own, spouse, children, parents,… even the death of pets have frozen humans from spiritual growth.
This is how eternity is born.
